I 28M have been seeing 24F for approximately 4 years. We’ve had arguments on and off breakups but as of recent it’s started to get abusive. She has a history of cheating and lying, there’s no surprise there. I’ve been supporting her I’m the reason her car is running, I paid the deposit on her apartment because it’s based on income we put it in her name. I put groceries in the home for her and she now receives food stamps, and I paid half the rent.

One night we got into an argument about me coming home because she was mad, I called her a bitch she punched me in my chest and began to scratch me, my face, and pull my hair out. I did nothing physically to harm her. We moved past that incident which was recent.

Last night we got into an argument about her phone because she lied about the passcode. I wasn’t tryna go through it but she did lie and I called her in it. We had rough sex, then we proceeded to argue even more. Now I wanted to see what she was hiding and she wouldn’t let me. So after that I can’t quite remember what happened. We were grabbing and I was standing in front of her in the hallway. She was telling me to leave but I’m a truck driver and she usually picks me up from my truck. So she was my ride I had no other ride. She slapped me, and began to pull my hair as I attempted to restrain her. She bit my finger and I began bleeding. I did nothing physically to her I did grab her neck to push her off and told her let go of my hair. Then I left, she has no physically signs of damage. Can I press charges? I did not call the police as I have to work today. But my mom suggested I file a report when I come back Monday-Tuesday. What should I do legally?
