The last comment clarifies that the husband normally cooks and meal-preps and the wife insisted on packing her husband’s lunches because she was on maternity leave. Even if the wife normally packed her husband’s lunches there would be no excuse for her to pack him a diaper and no food for saying that a coworker’s lunch is pretty but hard to eat. There is nothing wrong with partners doing nice things for each other, if a husband were to pack his wife’s lunches no one would bat an eye. When the daughter is a teenager she’s going to say that her classmate’s parents got them a new phone and the wife’s reaction will be to destroy her daughter’s phone.
