Wanted to give background on the events. If you wish to skip the essay to the main part skip to the end. Basically. I have know this girl for 4 weeks and wish to build a relationship with her despite living on opposite sides of the country. I mostly keep to myself but I really feel a something different with this one.

I had a 3 day business trip with managers at my company all around the country in a state ive never been before. After the first work day of trip ended connected with a guy and we ended up planning an outing with another group (1 guy (bi) and 2 women) at an escape room.

For context we all worked different shifts. The two women (Lex and Bri) and male friend (David) worked night shift on the opposite of the week than I where I worked day shift. When me and my friend (Larry) we'll call em showed up to the venue at time expected of 7pm place closed at 9pm they all weren't ready after contacting David as I got with him to set up the outing. David let us know they would be coming soon so me and Larry went and walked around a store until they would arrive when they did around 7:30. Both Bri and Lex were well dressed more than I expected with outfits that really showed their features. Surprising for the fact me and Larry were fairly casual, but they took the time to make sure they were on point something I didn't really think about till later.

David eventually showed up not much longer and we had great fun during the escape room activity. Both girls mentioned wanting to do have dinner at this one spot everyone else was going to at 8pm but per David the 2 ladies really wanted to the Escape room so we did it. Once 9pm came we tried to plan the next activity between them wanting to do Karaoke with another group or my suggestion of Topgolf as it is good fun and food was available. We eventually decided on Top golf as a discount was available that day.

Lex (the girl in question of title) was very outgoing and fun. Seemed she would make an effort to get near me and was not shy with touch. Once we left the escape room we took a group picture where I was in the middle of the 2 ladies both David and Larry bending down. Lex's body and feet were turned towards me and touching as she gave me a side hug. My arms were crossed as it made me feel uncomfortable at the time (lol).

We had an great time at Topgolf. Lex would get a lot of looks as she had an amazing figure and would ask me for advice on a few occasions regarding her swing. After that we all called it a night as it was 1am.

Next day during the training I would catch Lex glancing at me several times and giving short stares at me at times. When she got up to use the restroom one time and walking back I was facing her and stared at her eyes as walked back and she reciprocated. She would later come up to ask us if we were going to this game bar today at 7pm. She positioned herself and arms on the table between me and Larry. We agreed to go.

Later during the end of the day Lex went to get something at the back of the room and came to talk to me and Larry real quick during a break and shortly after when everyone's attention was called for instructions. She stood in front of me inches away and did not move. I, again was uncomfortable and not used to physical touch like this moved slightly back as he body was literally on my private. We had the same seats each day and Lex was pursued by a couple other guys in the room and they clearly saw me as competition as I seemed to have her attention despite them sitting by her and chatting her up.

The second day me and Larry arrived in downtown to go to the spot around 8pm. Others weren't ready so we walked around, shopped, and eventually went to the game bar and later 2 other bars. By time the 2 ladies arrived it was 9:30 and David had overslept. Larry was pissed at them being late and really no longer wanted to hang out, and their excuse was that something came up and they were getting extra sleep.

I didn't really take too much issue with it, we then decided on what to get to eat. We then went out to eat had a great time. The question came up of what type of women do I prefer to which I jokingly changed the subject. We got to learn a little about one another. Lex would point out at one point during the dinner that she notices I only laugh at her jokes. Next we we decided to go the club as it was nearly 11am.

On the drive to the club Bri asked me what type of women I prefer whether thick or slim thick, I replied slim thick but was honestly put off by the question as I was uncomfortable and tried to change the subject. Bri then said "so you don't like me?" as she was on the thicker side. I stated I never said I don't like thick women. To which all laughed.

We got to the club and danced for an hour or so. Nothing crazy happened. As we left I opened the door for Bri to let her in the car as I had been doing for each trip for this day. Lex took notice of this and stated how I was only opening doors for Bri. I joked and said Larry should learn from me and be a gentlemen.

Me and Larry were dropped off at our hotel and that was the night. Got their Instagrams (Lex offered hers to Larry and I) and told Lex that I hate that she had to fly out the next day and me and Bri would miss her presence. The 2 days later as I was driving Larry to the airport he asked me which of the two do I prefer? I was a little confused as to why he would ask this but said Lex.

Hung out with Bri the entire day after the club but that is a story for another day and unrelated. Nothing crazy happened.

I fly back the day after. Messaged Lex the night she gave us her IG to ask for her number to which she happily gave and told me to call anytime. We live on complete opposite sides of the country so their is a 3hour time difference and we also work opposite shifts.

Messaged Lex as soon I get off the flight on her cell letting her know it was me. She responded quickly but let me know she is a bad texted. We both work 12 hour shifts and I said I am fairly bad myself and prefer calling.

We called a few times in the last 2 weeks she gave me her number, longest call was 35 minutes. Still getting to know her. She has responded to my story a couple times poking fun/interacting with some of the things I post. And we had a playful conversation anytime she does. Despite her sleeping during the day as she works night shift she is usually the first to see my stories and has never missed one.

When she is unable to take my call she always apologizes and gives reasoning either mostly being asleep or side hustle (Uber driver). I believe she is genuine. She has stated she is a homebody and has few friends. She leaves her phone on and when at work or sleeping.

She has made a point to mention she is planning a trip to the islands by the end of next month on a couple occasions during call.

My question to you all based on the essay presented, I really feel a spark with her and want to begin a relationship with her. I understand the cards are stacked against me due to long distance and whatnot.

I was planning on setting up a cruise and possibly inviting her out to join me and getting to know one another more. She rather fly out to the islands and has not been on a cruise before. I haven't got the chance to tell her of the pros of a cruise and how it isn't as bad as it seems.

Based on what I have stated would I be crazy to invite her out for a cruise with me for her birthday week to build a relationship instead of her just flying out to an island for a solo trip? She has done 2 solo trips before to the islands.

I really like this woman. Let me know if 4 weeks is too out there to confess to her and plan a trip lol. Apologies for the long essay.
