You don’t realize it now, but you’re already building a memory. That girl you just saw and didn’t talk to is likely going to live in your head for years. You’ll think about her later tonight. You’ll think about her when you see someone who looks like her. You’ll think about her the next time you freeze again.
And that’s the pattern the majority of men never break. You see her. You feel it. You want to say something. Your chest tightens. Your brain starts spiraling. You look for the perfect moment. Then you let it pass. And you tell yourself next time. But next time never comes.
You keep stacking these moments until your identity gets built on hesitation.
Eventually you start telling yourself stories like “I’m just not that kind of guy” or “She wouldn’t be into someone like me anyway.” And the worst part is that you actually start believing it.
I used to be that guy. For a long time. I’d see girls I wanted to talk to and my body would lock up. I’d walk home knowing I missed my shot. I’d tell myself it was no big deal. But deep down, it ate at me. Not because I needed her. Not because I thought we’d fall in love. But because I knew I had something to say and I didn’t say it.
And the worst part of it all is that some of this girls would be eager to talk to me, and I’ll never know it because I didn’t act. I literally had girls smile at me when making eye contact and still didn’t act.
The fear of rejection is a lie we rehearse so much it feels like truth. But with experience what I’ve come to realize is that girls aren’t monsters. They don’t bite. They’re not going to ruin your life if you go up and say hi. The world doesn’t end when you introduce yourself. In fact, most girls actually welcome it if it’s done with honesty and presence.
The truth is, a calm hello will always go further than a lifetime of silent fantasizing. You don’t need a perfect line. You don’t need gimmicky bs. You don’t even need to be confident at first. You just need to stop standing still.
You’ll never regret the approaches you did. Even the weird ones. Even the ones that didn’t go anywhere. But the ones you don’t make stay with you.
I had to climb out of that headspace one approach at a time. One moment of courage at a time. I still remember the exact girl I approached when it all finally clicked. It wasn’t about the result. It was about proving to myself that I could break the cycle. That I could move.
If this feels too real, it’s because you’ve already felt it a hundred times. And you’re tired of it. I was too. That’s why I put together a guide for guys who are ready to stop living inside their heads and finally start to take the drivers seat of their lives.
If you want it, just DM me or drop a comment. I’ll send it to you.
And always remember that you miss all the shots you don’t take.
