I'm in college. I knew this girl last year, but this year we have a lot of classes together and we've started talking a lot and sitting together in class. I like talking with her, and she laughs at all my jokes. I tried to get her to come over a couple weekends ago but she was busy. I tried again last weekend and she was busy again. I don't want to keep asking or else I'll seem like I never do shit and I'm just sitting at home. She seems like she's into me (just little clues she gives), but she's always legitimately busy when I try to get her to come over. She talks about me with her friends, because she mentions that they were talking about me when I see her during the day.

I make an effort to make fun of her, and not be too nice to her all the time which has gotten me this far, but I don't know how long it will keep me out of the friend zone. I've always been bad with physical escalation and it's even harder during the day on campus.

I've asked her if she wants to hang out Friday night, but if she gives me the heisman again I don't know what I'll do. I can't ask her out to go to a bar, we're both underage and I can't go to parties on campus (long story).

How can I go about getting her to come over, and how do I make sure I don't end up as an orbiter?
