How do you meditate?

The best method ive found is called mindfull meditation. Its simple. Practice this everyday for 15 min:

Sit on the floor with your back straight.
With eyes halfway open stare at one point infront of you.
Focus on the feeling of breathing. Only focus, do not question or analyze.
If your mind wanders, come back to the breathing.

Do this and eventualy you can focus on sensations, sounds, feelings and even watch your thoughts without getting lost on them.

The basics of sitting in one place and focusing on your breath are enough to get started.

For me, I've found that two books really helped make it more effective.
