I think you answered your own question. She wasn't very receptive and did not give out hints. Sounds like a vibe in the moment, she wasn't feeling it. However don't say SHE let you buy dinner. You're the man, you make your own decisions

She's your typical naive girl. Either she's not interested - and just wanted friendship, or she has very different ideas about how quickly she wants to escalate. For example; only down for kissing a guy after you're already more or less in a relationship. Or she's asexual or aromantic, or autistic and doesn't understand social cues. She could also be uncertain about her attraction for you. For example - she could be attracted to your personality but not your looks, and this messed with her head and she stops you. There are many scenarios.

Point is; This will happen from time to time. Some women are quite naive and go home with a dude without understanding that 90% of the time he will try something. Most women will not be surprised at all when she goes home with a guy and he tries to kiss her. Most women understand that this is the most likely scenario when going home with a dude to watch a movie at his place. But there are always some women that are naive and haven't learned this yet.

When it happens; you notice she gets uncomfortable. Stop what you're doing and ask her (without being accusatory or upset), if you're moving too fast for her. She will then usually tell you what's up. Why she's not willing to go further

Honestly man, you should have actively communicated with her to see what her ideas, and perspective on you and the relationship was. Also, don't do favours for people and expect gratitude/favours back unless you specifically bartered before hand, do it to be nice/for the sake of doing it, or if that isn't enough, don't do it

Her purpose of coming over was simply to watch a movie.

It was you who told himself the story that a woman wanting to watch a movie has to have some hidden ulterior motive and that the end goal cannot just be watching the movie with a buddy and nothing more.

You say that she should have known that you were gonna make a move, but that’s not necessarily an obvious universal fact. A woman can just simply trust that you will be acting platonic since thats whay you said, and take your word for it.

The problem is you had expectations of how she had to behave and act based on what you did. As if it was a transaction where you do something for her like paying for food, and the she owes you love or sex in return.

And that’s not how seduction or dating works at all.

I mean if you are assuming that buying her dinner means she has to give you sex, then the question is did you warn her about before buying her the dinner? Did you literally tell her with these words, “hey i’m only buying you dinner with the condition that you allow me to get in your pants, later, if you don’t agree say it now so we pay separately?”

Because if you didn’t specify the terms of the agreement like this, then you had no agreement. You just had expectations, and she is not responsible for any hidden expectations that you had and didn’t want to be upfront about.

You cannot say that you’ve been used when she never actually agreed to give you sex in return for trying to bribe her with dinner… Specially, when you never let her know that’s what you wanted in return.

You are just mad because you wanted to do a transaction without specifying the terms to her and then get mad for not fulfilling the terms of a transaction she never agreed to in the first place.

Contracts exist for a reason, and who is to say that a woman owes you something for buying her a dinner? Next time if you want sex don’t assume it is is self-evident and be upfront before you spend any money.

Cuz women don’t owe you sex no matter how much money you spend to bribe them into having it. She never forced you to buy her dinner, you did that because you wanted to. And if you wanted something in return you should have been extremely clear about it by spelling it out for her.

Ah yes. Talking over messages and watching movies together, two things never done by just friends.

Yeah she made a huge mistake thinking you were her friend. Don't worry too much, this experience will leave her much more able to tell who is a genuine friend and who is a molester.

I don't think you guys understand that if you touch a woman and she does not want to be touched, that's a crime. You can go to court for what you just did.
