I found myself as one of those people despite knowing that women are advantaged in society. Perhaps society has impressed the narrative that women are victims and men criminals and I accepted that unconsciously. Perhaps I am biologically programmed to protect women. Whatever the reason, women are privileged and know it. Many women abused this privilege daily.

Maybe this could explain why men seek to remove emotion from situations while for women it’s all about the emotions. In emotionally charged situations, women have all the power regardless if it’s either the man or the woman who is upset. Might be worth looking into from an evolutionary psychology perspective.
