So kids are more or less grown up, she’s 50, has filed.

She was pretty busy with 2 jobs up to filing, one is her main one, part time by choice and well paid. The second one was a vanity project but she enjoyed it.

Ideally heading into a divorce she should be going back full time to her main job but she would see this as unsavoury. Lots of women her age in this job making serious money working full time. She seems to have reduced her hours even further.

She’s also given up the second job in its entirety.

I’m paying for everything, feeling hard done by and know what she’s at.

My solicitor maintains she’s wasting her time as a judge will measure her on her full time earning capacity.

Maybe I should go part time or jack in my job altogether.
