So got (multiple) calls from my stbx last night calling me gay slurs, claiming I beat her, calling me the N word (I'm white) threatening to file DV against me for holes in the walls of the old house, saying she was pregnant by her boyfriend, telling me she was a stripper, threating to expose me on Facebook, threatening to send gang members after me. All of this while I kept calm and just asked the question (over and over again) so are you signing or not? I didn't react or say anything other than that. She claims she will suck off a lawyer on the convo, that she has plenty of lawyers wanting and willing to help her, of course I said that is fine. She says she won't sign until I give her my dog (had dog before marriage). I was asking for the bare minimum. Couple of pieces of furniture, tools, grill, my dog. She claims to have a video of me punching a wall or something to that effect. How would the courts view this and how would this help/hurt me? I have the whole call recorded and documented, just wondering if anyone else has had this kind of blow up from someone, and what the likely outcome of it is. My mind went to, screw it now I'm going to ask for anything and everything. I was trying to make this as easy and as simple as possible but with what she said, it has drastically changed the situation. What would you do in this situation?
