So I learnt seduction and game in university back in my home country: got to a point where I had multiple girls available and could meet, number close, get a date and get laid within a month or 2. Moved to japan afew years back and ive run into a double edged sword where I arrived and almost immediately got a gf here. But have struggled to get any action from any other girl. Im a 30year old male, i workout, above avg looks.

Ive learnt conversational japanese and can walk up to and meet girls here no problem, but cold approaching has had a HIGH likelihood of failure in japan people here just aint that social. Community meetups, night game and social venues I have approached and had great encounters with girls and even number close but the minute we start texting or organising a second date there's a HIGH likelihood that things will blow up in my face: Either she's dirt boring to talk to, too busy to reply consistently, rejects going on a date, doesn't reply at all or just funk ghosts me and I cant figure out what up. I'll have great face 2 face encounters and memorable encounters with these girls but cant seem to get a second chance, a date or a follow up? I know white boys have it much easier here in JPN but I didnt think the rest of us would struggle this much...

My most recent fukup was this older woman I met at the bar. My female friend told me she thinks I'm handsome so i approached, had a great chat, physically escalated, changed location, number closed and organised a date for the next week. During the week that we texted she was responsive and showed interest but slightly unstable, insecure and self-contradictory. Id have to defuse and de-escalate things often, teasing her shit tests reassuring her that I do like her and want to see her despite the age gap. Until one moment I didn't, she blew up in my face and cancelled the date and now Im like WTF is up with these women...

If I take a step back and see what worked last time, it was A) she spoke english and B)me and her both wanted a serious relationship. And things just clicked with me and her. But Im not looking for something serious right now, just wanna have fun and explore. Maybe I should try dating apps despite how much I hate them? hate what they do with my self esteem. Maybe more patience and persistence?
