There is no magic formula for a quick confidence boost, imo. Bad one night stands can make you feel shittier than you already did.

Also, if she is less attractive, I would think any confidence boost would be hers, not yours.

Any girl you're banging should be attractive enough to bang, first of all.

IMO, the only reason to bang a girl is because you want to bang her. Not because you think banging her will make you feel better or will help you get back on track.

If you want to feel better, then take care of your shit.

You eating right should make you feel better.

If you want to feel better, get your work done.

If you want to feel better, get to the gym.

If you want to feel better, get more sleep.

Trying to approach someone I consider above my league, and doing my best while having fun - this is what really gives me the long-lasting confidence boost. Rejection barely matters, unless it is nuclear (I guess, since I didn't face nuclear rejection in many many years).

Fucking someone below your level might help you verify your logistics after a long break, but otherwise you learn nothing. Don't reach for safety, reach for fun.
