If my girl agrees to have an FMF threeway, isn't it only fair to do MFM with her (if as she asks for it)?

gym before work - it sucked at first, but after a few weeks of forcing myself to get up I got used to it.

Wake up. Roll out of bed. 50 push-ups. Now I'm awake. 50 sit-ups and 50 squats whilst kettle boils and toast... toasts. Shower after breakfast, and I'm ready to start the day.

Go to they gym every other day in the morning to do a proper workout, and if I have time on the off days, I go and do cardio (rowing and running). I'll also try to go swimming at least once a week (you can substitute swimming for cardio at the gym).

Walk to and from work (approx 9 kms). Stairs (24 floors) once or twice. Can't lift weights much so generally walking a LOT.

Right. I ride my bike to work.

I thought of doing that on alternate days. But winter is not the best time to bike. On occasion, walking still works.

I sit at a desk 9-5. You have a lunch break to get changed and run or go to the gym and lift. 5 times a week in the evenings I do Jiu Jitsu. I do my squats, deadlifts, overhead press and bench over 2 days during the week. Theres tonnes of time and I work out AT LEAST once per day.

Lift 3 times per week with intensity. Stick to my diet macros.

That's it. Don't overthink it, don't blame your lack of progress on your sedentiary work life. Just give it what you got in the gym and eat right, and you're golden. If you're not getting ripped, you're either doing something wrong in the gym or with your diet.

Get up and walk around. Stand up and stretch like every 15-20 minutes. If you can work at a 'standing' desk, do it--I work from home and use a tall 'server' (piece of furniture) which is exactly the right height for me to use a laptop while standing.

Sitting all day fucking kills you. No lie. Google it.

Lift 3~5 days a week, strength days and volume days, 2 to 3 liters of water a day, fish oil and good sleep.

I take a LOT of 1 minute breaks. Every time I feel sleepy or slow I get up and get my heart rate up. A few crunches or pushups, or if I really need to wake up, I hit the 100 foot hill in back. Takes 4 minutes, up and down, and I come back to my desk all fired up.

I also work out before/ after etc, but I feelz that keeping my metabolism elevated all day is better than an hour long workout after sitting still all day.
