I’ve had trust issues and parental conflict in my 19 months in my 2nd marriage. I have a stepson and I have a daughter from my previous marriage. My wife recently had dating app notifications come through her phone and when I addressed it, she said it was to help her brother setting up his profile. I asked her to show me and she declined stating that “his profile and show you his messages? She then went on to say she deleted the app. I do. Or buy the story whatsoever. This week, her son told me as I was grilling outside and told me that the other day when I was laying in bed, his mom was talking to a friend that was not my friend. It was a former boyfriend of hers. I addressed this with her away from both children’s and she denied it and spanked him. She then blamed me for it and said even if she had been that’s her son and her needs to mind his business. Rather than directly deny what he told me unprompted, she implied justification. Following these two recent events, there has been numerous parenting conflicts , involving her son and my daughter.
