its kinda weird, but it happens occasionally. women have such a social frame that sometimes stuff like this happens.

If she brings a friend, thats weird too because sex cant happen if she brings a friend. I think youre friendzoned hard. If you tried to escalate, it would likely go badly.

Next time you're alone make a move. If she turns you down move on. When I wasn't single I got a crush on a girl in friend group. I didn't make a move until I was single. Found out quickly that she didn't see me that way, not awkward. Friendship continued, she was a welcome face at social events. Sometimes hung out one on one but rarely almost managed to hook her up with a wingman.

Be more specific -- she helps you with girls, college, and makes you food? You need to do well in school, handle your business here. It is good practice for real life. Get into good work habits and part of that is collaboration and mutually beneficial relationships. She's helping you screw a bevy of chicks? Don't mess that up but do get another supply. Food? Just enjoy it. Riff on it by getting good at making cocktails and punch. Now you have a skill and natural social events to have fun and improve your SMV.

My best plate had a boyfriend but ended up asking me out once I soft nexted her. She ended up breaking up with the bf and asking me out < 24 hours later.
