I unfortunately just lost an Order of Protection hearing as a Respondent (I regret not going harder finding representation... would never represent myself again, especially when the opposition had counsel), and the maximum length of two years was granted.
But given the fact that the conduct the petitioner argued on is already almost two years old, and the fact that I'm about to relocate to a new city, is there a pathway to shrink the length of the order? I know vacating the order is a tall order, no pun intended, especially when I have a lot on my plate right now... so I want to go about discerning if a Motion to Modify is feasible.
Any experience to learn from per chance?
