I originally commented saying at least they're being downvoted to shit because, well, it's HER period blood. If she wants to make a drawing with it, that's her choice, but this post at least gives me somewhat of an excuse to talk a little bit about one of the few women's issues I genuinely care about and hopefully this doesn't get me downvoted to shit too.

Fun fact 1: according to most sources, only about an estimated 5-15% of women experience period pain severe enough to disrupt their daily life. I've seen a couple sources that say a range of 2-29%, but from accounts I've heard from actual women that have talked with fellow female friends about their experiences, 15% or lower seems more believable. It's way higher than it should be, but still a minority nonetheless.

And fun fact 2: Period pain severe enough to disrupt daily life is not normal. It signals a possible medical issue like endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, PID, and more and if someone experiences pain that severe, they should see some sort of doctor to get it taken care of.
