What I dont get is somehow misandrists would expect a normal nerdy guy to know when a literal cosmic entity would grant a silly kid's toy the powers to alter reality. "um hes mysoginist and views women as property because he wished for it" mother fucker he did that as a joke because its NORMAL to assume nothing of that sort would happen. bro literally began trying to reverse the curse almost immediately

I haven’t seen the film yet (looks good so I’ll see it soon) but from what I’ve seen so far, it appears Baron is akin to the character Ben from Telltale’s Walking Dead. At least in terms of them both being a fuck up (that eventually gets people killed) but also not a complete villain. If you know, you know.

I feel like Bear didn’t have evil intentions even if the way he did it was wrong. He probably didn’t take the wish thing seriously because, let’s be real, who would? Nikki is the villain, she’s abusive and I feel like many men can relate to having partners like that which is another reason they sympathise with Bear. Also, women have done this same thing in films and books (and real life) for ages with love spells.
