I have been hitting the gym consistently. There is a gym in my society, and most of the time it's mostly men there. Sometimes girls come too, but not regularly.
Today I went to the gym and there was this girl. It was the first time I had seen her. Two other guys were also there, but after about half an hour they left, and only she and I were there.
I wanted to approach her and ask something simple, like whether she was new to the society since I was seeing her for the first time. But I just couldn't approach her.
I looked at her 3-4 times, but she was busy working out and had her headphones on. I thought I'd talk to her once she finished and was about to leave, but she was a bit far away, so I didn't approach her or ask anything.
In my mind, I had already decided that I would approach her, but when the actual moment came, it just didn't happen. Maybe I'm overthinking too much, and that's stopping me.
Similar incidents have happened 3-4 times before. I decide that I'll approach and talk to someone, but I never end up doing it...I have done a cold approach once, though.
Once the moment passes, I regret it because I had already made up my mind, yet I still couldn't do it.
Any suggestions from you guys?
