Often on this subreddit- people are concerned (fairly) that men are portrayed as the (only) perpetrators of abuse etc. I work with under 18’s- and thus I am required to undertake much child protection training etc under government mandates.
Whilst social media/ algorithms may portray men as the perpetrators- this is not the information/ training that is provided (to all who work with people under 18 in Australia (this is mandatory training) which attempts to portray the myths etc.
