I want to make a post about NYC because there has been so many conflicting information about this city when it comes to game. This post is directed more towards people who actually have experience in NYC from both living there and traveling there + the ones who actually do cold approach "NOT DATING APPS!". I don't want to hear any comments from people who ever never been to NYC, nor do I want to hear any comments from people who are not man enough to cold approach and only relying on dating apps. I don't want to hear one more comment about some guy who got results using a stupid dating app. Dating apps are trash and there only made to favor women, but that's a whole other story.

For NYC, historically I have heard great things about this place. There are original pickup guys who started in NYC and became legends. I heard it often quoted during the early 2000's that NYC was the playground for the single guy. Largest populated in the USA, densely populated so you don't run out of women to approach, you can't argue against this. Constant stream of women if you wanted to approach hundreds of them in one hour its easy. If you tried approaching hundreds of women at once in one hour in some of these other smaller cities, it could be a challenge. At the end of the day its a numbers game, and NYC wins on numbers. I heard on a podcast recently that NYC might just be the "last good day game city left in America today".

On the other hand you hear some negative people say that NYC is dead today, that the times have changed, its not the same, more women on defensive guard there, feminism is worse as a whole in the city, some even saying pick up is dead in 2026. Not sure this is over exaggerated negativity.

What is the truth today in 2026, is NYC still worth the trip or the move for that dream pick up lifestyle, or is NYC not worth it today? if NYC is not worth it, then where?

This is a serious consideration for me because I was considering moving to NYC to get a job , however living there alone is pretty tough due to cost of living, but I am willing to put in the work if NYC is infact a pick up dream land.
