So I work in the medical profession, specifically as a therapist, and I'm noticing that I used to find it much easier to escalate on dates when I was previously single and worked in a non-medical profession.
Nowadays I keep getting stuck in my head about consent, being reported, etc etc. I know its disproportionate, but I'm wondering if anyone in careers where there is a similar ethical burden might have any advice on how to approach this, given it leads me to feeling stifled and incongruent when I'm on dates, a problem I didn't really have when I was last single 4-5 years ago.
