So I’ve known this guy for years and we always have a good time when we’re together. Everyone in our social circle knows that we’re best friends. Lately, he’s been acting quite pricey and even excluded me from one of the hangouts at one of our friends places. The friend told him to bring me as well but he casually decided not to tell me that. It was literally a boys night so it’s not like he saw me as a threat to like steal any girl away from him. There have been many instances like this lately. We still meet twice or thrice a week and he initiates them and I know I have a good time and it definitely appears that he has a good time as well. There is a 4 year age gap between us and we’ve never competed for the same girl or anything like that. In fact he’s a great wingman! What could it be? Am I just overthinking this shit? It feels good to be attractive to women but it feels better to be a person that everyone wants to be around!
