I recently decided that I wanted to learn how to go out on the weekend without any friends and have fun solo, so naturally I did a quick Google search to see if there are any pitfalls to avoid. The first thing that came up was goodlookingloser's series of articles on the subject. There is some value in their articles, but good lord, the way that they talk about getting laid is just sad. Why would someone build their entire social life around fucking strangers? The author literally posted a full-day routine he has that is entirely built upon hitting on girls for 12+ hours, using a dick pump, and loading up on 3 different stimulants to get hyped up for it. I remember reading The Game, and most of the PUA gurus in that book were about as cringe as this guy is.

I've often seen people claim that TRP is built upon PUA ideas, and there are definitely some good concepts that I've seen PUAs reference, but how in hell is it possible for PUAs to be this cringe? Do they just not have self awareness? Or is this just a selection bias, and I'm just stumbling onto the worst of the PUAs?
