Had the same with my ex at one point. Basically came down to her wanting me again a few months later. I just plated her till I found someone better. She had a BF at the time too, he pretty much knew what was happening though and they broke it off very shortly after.

They typically do this shit when their current life and sex life is really boring or it's the same shit over and over, they then dream of doing something crazy and it results in a sex dream with an ex.

if she was flirting with you that's one thing. but just casually admitting a sex dream in casual convo, that's her fucking with you cuz she knows she can. If you made a move right now she'd get offended and cut you off or laugh at you. OTOH, if you started fucking someone else in the near future, she'll get jelly as fuck and get angry at you. she'll also fuck you to try and steal you back.

that's the best I can do on what little info you gave. 90% of this stuff depends on the context and the people involved; of which you gave us next to nothing. and the fact that you didn't know to include these details (or didn't know what details to look for, which I think is most likely the case) means that I don't think you have the skills necessary to pull this off.

It is a dream so her boyfriend can be made to look foolish for taking any action on this statement. But she can openly communicate sexual desires to you and still make him look foolish. But like you said she "loves" him and this is probably more about the process of betaing him up and seeing how far she can go.
