Best cities in Canada for a college student out of these?

I live in Ottawa and it is full of stodgy feminists. Not a great option if you want to get action although it is awesome if you like the outdoors and is a very chill city. If you're thinking of where to live out of school there are also great job opportunites and the cost of living isn't ridiculous.

Are you going into college? Your option should be what is the best school and program, not what city is best. You can't really go wrong with Montreal though, cheap to live and great atmosphere much like many European cities. Toronto is expensive and the schools aren't great. Halifax is also amazing except in winter, good night life, very good student population and a nice city overall in my opinion.

Edmonton is fucking ez pz with the weather this year (always between ~3 to ~-5). Plenty of social stuff just like any other city most likely. Edmonton has West Edmonton Mall and is surrounded by lakes (for summer things). Boat load of colleges and universities. As for price, I'm not really sure, you're gonna have to look more at that.

Out of those universities you listed, the university of Alberta has the best engineering program. The trade off is that the weather and social life won't be nearly as good as somewhere like Montreal or Toronto.

Victoria will have the mildest winter by far. If you're going to canada to see snow, you'll be disappointed there. It's not a huge city, but it's not the most boring place I've been.

Montreal and Toronto aren't the best in fact all of these suck. You want a university town. Western, Guelph, Queens, McMaster even Laurier. McMaster has gotten very Asian and brown but they have killer sciences. I don't have any information outside of Ontario. Look at student life not city life. Unless you mean college and not university then none have student life. Maybe Seneca or the ones that are on campuses for universities.
