So I asked this girl in my singing classes out. We went out a couple of times. Last Saturday for a concert and dinner afterwards. And yesterday for a movie. Whatever I read here, I applied. I gently touched her, made jokes, made her mad, extracted "aww so cute"s from her. She was also responding. Then after the movie, I went to drop her home. Went upto her apartment and sat there chatting. After a while of random chatting, I finally said that I liked her and would want us to be together. She replied that she had broken up with a guy a few days ago and doesn't want to get into a relationship and that she had thought about it for a while but then had opted to not get involved.

It would be great if you guys could point out if there was something I did wrong. From my point of view, I made all the right moves. Decided the time and venue of events, how we would reach there and what would we be doing. I also escalated by getting close to her and touching her. What I think is that perhaps there wasn't any attraction to begin with which made her give the above response. Am I wrong?
