I don't know where to began. I'm not sure even i can accept the implications in this article.

The sad part is, i can see the rationale behind this, i think it's important to have an outlet for women who realize they dont want to have a baby but dont want to abort it. But what about the implications of this, the effect on the child? the Father? The fact that the state is sanctioning women who want to profit from hiding a pregnancy from the father? Not a rape, or young mother issue, so just any woman who gets pregnant and wants to ditch a baby can get money, and their spouse never need know. No questions Asked?

I seriously can't believe what i'm reading.

I am from Idaho. I fathered a son a little over 2 years ago. I wanted to marry the mother, but she changed her mind. She cut off contact with me during the pregnancy. I had no idea what her intentions were. I knew about the adoption laws in Utah. I did not sleep well for months. I was so stressed and scared she would take him to Utah and have him adopted. With a little luck, and a lot of money I was able to get joint custody of my son. This is why I need Mens Rights. I should not have to leverage our future just to exercise my rights as a father, to raise and love my son.
