How common is it for a girl to let you get close/closer than before and then suddenly start ignoring you when some other guy starts paying attention to her?

This happens with 100% of women. The key is to make it happen less often to you by being the other guy who's a cocky asshole with muscles, instead of the nice friend, and to have a lots of girls on your rotation, not just one, so it never matters if one drops off.

happens to me 100% of the time. I still get sex some of those times but I will be dropped / ignored without reason or warning, some of those times I found out later the girl's sleeping with some other guy, a couple of those times she'll walk right off to be with that other guy right then and there.
