Wanted to know what you guys think the fix is to the selective service issue. As we know this is probably the most blatant form of institutionalized misandry and sexism against men. I recently got into with with a guy that clearly wasn’t very intelligent, and he tried to pull the classic men and the patriarchy are the reason why women aren’t required to sign up for selective service because our government believes they’re too weak to fight on the front lines. I told him that that wasn’t necessarily true and that the entire world seems to be able to understand that when it comes to combat and physical things specifically men are far superior choices on average and make far better combatants. Due to our physical strength differences, size, speed, etc.

I then told him that refusing to understand that men make better fighters than women is a belief that if implemented into the military would get a lot of men and women killed and cause us to lose a lot more wars than we already have and that not accepting this known biological fact is dangerous. I told him because of our country always finding a way to be involved in wars we have no business being in and having so many ops, I believe that it’s unrealistic to say that the solution to the selective service issue is to completely do away with it even though it IS something I’d get behind instantly if it were realistic. I personally think the solution would be to have women sign up for selective service as well but keep them out the meat grinder. If a draft was ever implemented again, Have them do strictly logistical, factory and intel jobs similar to how they did during ww2. I’m still apparently the enemy for saying this weirdly enough but what are your thoughts?
