Women being drafted is only part of the issue:

Women serve in Ukraine’s armed forces. They make up roughly 7% of military personnel and over 20% of the officer corps. Thousands have served with distinction, and hundreds have been decorated for bravery. Yet women account for only a tiny fraction of military deaths—around 0.2% according to some estimates.

I dread the situation when the officer corps will be gender equal (or majority female ) and almost all casualties will be disposable men.

Nope, that's not a solution at all. The problem with Selective Service (and whatever other countries call it) is that this is an issue of bodily autonomy just like abortions rights or genital mutilation of infants (boys in the US and girls in Africa). For someone to give up their body, and possibly their life, to their country is only patriotic if it is a choice, not a requirement.

I personally think the solution would be to have women sign up for selective service as well but keep them out the meat grinder.

Generally agree, but that's a small part of it. This is the bigger issue:

because of our country always finding a way to be involved in wars we have no business being in and having so many ops

A small portion of the population basically enslaves the global working population to pay for all kinds of wars of choice (while of course having the same working population fight the wars, build the bombs, etc, without getting the profits, etc, and of course carrying out secrecy rules to prevent the public from knowing what was done in their name with their money). Conscription (literal or destroying the economy so the military becomes the most practicable choice to make a living) is yet another way of taking advantage of working people (and of course heavily charged against men, as written into law).

So the actual solution is to remove profit from war, push the financial and human burden of it back onto the decision-makers, throw people in jail for covering up war crimes (including under secrecy/classification rules), etc. Then we can talk about when and why forced servitude may possibly be required, of whom (presumably everyone. I'm not even sure how you argue otherwise if the US specifically is going to claim to have "equal protection" under the 14th amendment), and then of course who should do what forced tasks (I do think it's reasonable to say that a physically weak person can't take on certain roles.... But that would apply to men and women, so I can't really fathom where sex-based discrimination makes sense.... Maybe certain field combat roles where menstruation can't be managed??? Extremely specific scenarios at best)

Ideally it should be done away with along with all conflict, but this is reality. Making it sex neutral is the only realistic option I see, but that won't change his expendable guys are in this world. Maybe someday the entire thing will be optional and volunteer-only, but that's not today.
