My girlfriend and I sat down a few weeks ago and she broke down her assault case.

To describe the scenario she broke down to me, I am paraphrasing a bit

I was scheduled to meet a BF & GF at this guy's house on a Saturday night. But for whatever reason, the couple who I was scheduled to meet, didn't show. Instead, they both decided on meeting me at the club were supposed to meet at.

Instead of going inside, I just left my car at this guys apartment and caught an uber to the club. I met up with the couple and we partied for a few hours. After, we walked out together and I asked them to drop me off to my car, except the problem was this. I had way too much drink, and couldn't drive home, so I called the guy. He let me in, and I rushed to the bathroom.

I ended up puking for a bit, and he came in the bathroom with some water.

All I can remember after is this guy on top of me, and another guy in the room with us. I fought with the two, and immediately ran out...

After, I told the girl who I partied with earlier that night what happened. She asked me if I wanted to call the cops, but I was too afraid.

I normalized it because I didn't want to believe it happened.

This led to me having sex... a lot. I am no longer that person who I used to be, but I ended up hooking up with people with zero feelings attached. Maybe this had something to do with what happened to me at VCU.

At 26 years old, she claims her N-count is around 20 guys and she lost her virginity at 14 years old.

I am having a hard time internalizing everything here.

Even while I type this, I can't seem to wrap my head around her using sexual assault as reasoning to be more promiscuous.

But this isn't the first time I heard this.
