i'm not sure why men acting entitled to sex is any better than women acting entitled to attention or favors or gifts??
this article is a bit too bitter for my taste (even as a frequent return of kings reader)

It leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. I'm happy to provide my own spouse with sex whenever he asks, but the important thing is that I chose him. I wasn't gifted to him like something from under the Christmas tree. I think I'd be a bit put off if he acted as though he deserved me simply by virtue of being male.
Not all men are created equal. Let's completely put aside the morbidly obese, unambitious, does-nothing-but-sits-and-plays-WoW-all-day kind of guy and assume we have a society of men who have reasonably equal working status and ability. Should a woman be forcibly paired with someone she has no chemistry or shared interests with? Are lesbians something to be frowned upon?
I'm not trying to sound obtuse or toss out unrealistic retorts, but the article in itself strikes me as being pretty obtuse itself, so there's that...

This article seems whiney and hyperbolic. Let's not forget about personal responsibility.
A relationship (marriage specifically) is a symbiotic relationship between two people and two families. If a man has nothing to offer why would a woman be with him? If a woman has nothing to offer why would a man want her?
What social contract are they talking about? Since when does society owe people things? If you don't work you don't get food or shelter, why would getting a woman be any different? Can I just say that society owes me land because I said so and I'm valuable damnit? How can you be a "loser" and be valuable at the same time? Let's make prostitution legal sure, but men don't deserve that either, you still have to pay for it so you're still "earning" it.
Survival of the fittest.
I'd love to hear other's thoughts as well because I feel like I must be missing something. This article does not fit in with the stuff I've read so far.

I agree that feminism has mangled the dating scene, but it's done that for both genders in my opinion. It's hard to find a man who is interested in kids and marriage and settling down (at least where I live), just like it's hard to find a girl who is willing to work hard and earn things. Feminism has made casual relationships the more common set up.
I don't think feminism has made it harder to get sex, quite the opposite in fact, casual sex is more socially acceptable than ever. It does suck that male spaces are disappearing and that there's so much pc bullshit and censorship.
What does "society owes them sex" look like? What exactly are you proposing? Or is this just a tantrum where you throw yourself on the floor and scream "it's not fair!"
Are men really so pathetic now that they need society to give them welfare pussy? I personally don't think so. I meet charming, hot, successful men all the time. My cashier at the grocery store last week was hot, if I was single I would have shamelessly flirted. I know a lot of guys that get laid all the time, and I know a lot of guys who sit on their asses bitching like old women waiting for the universe to drop a hot woman with no standards in their laps.
I have a son to, and I'm not worried about him. It took his father about six hours to get me into bed with him, and he could get even better than me if he was single now. His dad will teach him how to be a man and he'll do what he wants and he'll probably be successful at it. Maybe instead of giving pussy to men who don't deserve it we should just raise men instead of boys, I'm totally all for that and so is TRP. However, TRP is not about sitting around complaining about how "people should love you for who you are" or "don't improve, just be yourself".
Sorry if I was harsh. I just find this mentality disgusting and I hope this isn't where this sub is headed. The personal responsibility angle is why I like this place. This article sounds like feel good feminist bullshit written for men.
