I'm a bit confused, have you asked him about this? You can ask in a way that isn't bitchy or demanding. Something like "I like your brother, but I also really love you and want to take a trip that's just the two of us. I think we would be able to explore more of our own interests rather than following his. What do you think?"

Can you skip one of those activities and plan a small excursion for just the two of you for one day of the trip? I'm assuming that there are different things planned for different parts of each trip. Like, if there are 3-4 different activities within one trip, skip the one you are least interested in; that way you get the family trip, yet you have a little alone time doing something you enjoy, too.
