Just do it bro. I'm in the same boat but I just go for it. She's going to get upset. You need to give her the impression that going out with your boys makes you happy. She will be mad at first but she will see that she needs to step her game up if she wants you to stay home with her Friday nights.

You need to have the attitude of 'My life is busy and awesome, I've chosen you to accompany me in my journey'.
