Plate always late. She tells me a few hours in advance she'll be an hour late. Could be a legit reason but I'm over it. Two options..

Text and say "that's a bit late, I'll see you another time".

Don't let her start controlling you, or you'll become the plate. Don't think with your dick.

She knows you have no option this is why she is late. Time to change that. Get more plates, if she is late cancel your meeting. Your time is valueable!

If they cancel or delay, you cancel.

Your time is valuable. Apologies are nice but I ignore them, I don't get butthurt but brush them off unless:

1) hard evidence follows of something serious being the cause

2) a reschedule is included.

3) neither of the above are frequent. Even if it's not their fault, that doesn't change that your time is valuable and constantly being spent. Often lives aren't compatible. That's fine. I've probably nexted mor girls than I should because of schedule issues, even though they showed few to no red flags. Life is busy. I don't need that, nor does she.

You're right that there's two options, but the options are:

Accept it.
Don't accept it.

It's not really more complicated than that.

Cancel when she does this, and if she ever shows up on time, make sure you give her some positive reinforcement over it. "Thank you for being on time. I like seeing you, but I stay pretty busy, and it's hard for me to move stuff around hours at a time when I've already made plans."
