You must be very careful what you get from this. Even with RP knowledge you can easily fall in the beta category if you don't take care of who you are as a person. People with alpha moms usually become whipped betas. I have two theories about why this is happening.

First, there is the Oedipus complex explained by Freud. The young man desires to kill his dad, take his place and fuck his mom. I know this sounds fucked up but it actually means men subconsciously try to find the image of his mom in his female life partner. So, if your mom is a whore you will be attracted by whores, if your mom is submissive you will be attracted by submissive women, if your mom is dominant, you will become attracted by dominant women. You get the idea.

And second, there is the male role model. If you lack a male role model, or your male role model is a whipped little bitch... you know where this is going.

I am not talking about you OP, I'm talking about the general predisposition. We are still able to make a choice about who we are as men.

Coming from divorced parents, I kind of get where you are coming from, that is why I'm advising extra care.

I was lucky enough to be mentored by my grandfather who was a colonel in the army and director of military counter-intelligence in my region before he retired and he really taught me how to be a man, how to not be involved in drama that doesn't concern me, how to work hard for a good career so, his words, I become someone who counts, how not to whine like a little bitch, how to eat right, moderation in all things and other stuff like that. Fuck, I miss that guy.

It sucks not to have had a male role model who maintained frame.

But at least your mother seems capable of maintaining frame. I know that may sound a terrible thing to say but just imagine growing up in a house where everyone was yelling, getting upset and losing their cool. Imagine growing up in a household where arguments are won by the person who shouts the loudest, acts out the worst. A world where frame doesn't even exist. Horrific.
