Best fashion style for 18-22yo males?

The thing I like best from internet searching is Rugged/Workwear/Super Americana

What you like best is what you're going to be most comfortable in. What you're most comfortable in is what will most facilitate your advances in the rest of your life because confidence is key. That said, wear what you're comfortable in and grow the beard to go with it if you're comfortable with that too. I'm not saying you should ALWAYS do what is most comfortable (otherwise we'd all be up to our eyeballs in porn and cheeto dust). But when it comes to how you present yourself to the world and others, confidence is key and if that style gives you confidence, then go with it. If you know you're going to feel awkward in a gold chain and a track suit, don't wear it. If you know you're going to feel awkward with shorts hanging off your ass, a cap cocked to the side, and a jersey, then don't wear that either. Go with what gives you confidence and with what you know works for you... as long as it's not holey teal sweatpants from 1993 and a grey t-shirt with a tiger and a lion fighting on it.

I'm not in Europe, so please take what I suggest as perhaps not 100% applicable, but what has worked for me here in the USA I strongly believe would apply to most modern countries.

I wear both "formalish" (say, "business casual" as we say here) and casual clothing depending on where I go, and I often receive compliments and have gotten attraction from women, too.

My suggestions would be: (business casual:)

Long sleeve solid-color shirts in bright colors. (here in the USA we have a chain store called Express where I purchased many)
Well-fitting polo shirts
Short sleeve shirts with nice patterns/colors, sharp collars, and modern styling. Think Calvin Klein for a great example

For casual, I wear both well-fitting henley shirts, accessories like bracelets from eBay (masculine looking, metallic/leather/rubber) and occassionally a necklace that compliments my shirt.

Distressed (tasteful) jeans and short-sleeve shirts like Calvin Klein, Alfani, and others.

Whatever you wear, it needs to compliment your body: it needs to fit well and/or be tailored!! Can't stress this enough.

Of course, sport coats/blazers with a crisp shirt look great.

Most the of the 18-22 guys I see look like kids because they wear lame T-shirts and put no thought into fit or fashion. Also, their posture is terrible and makes them look weak and beta.

If you want to see some nice shirts, look under casual button-up shirts at Macys.com. I'm not sure what's available for you where you are but I'm trying to give some general suggestions.

Young European here. You should think about two things: what you like, and what your market is.

As you have already stated, you have a thing for americana. Great: that's a mainstream look that you can achieve with ease, and later expand on it. It allows you to gradually experiment and get a broader liking for style.

The other aspect is your market. When you dress, you're selling yourself, trying to express something to someone. Your market defines what is acceptable to wear (for example, office job and suits). Given that, what is your sexual market? Are you into hippie girls? Party girls? Hip girls? Whatever you like, try and think what these girls like.

Now, I'm not saying you should dress for someone. You shouldn't mimic other guys just to fuck a girl or two. But knowing your market will allow you to know what you can pull off. As a personal example, I'm really into fashion, and the girls I like are, too: actually, knowing how this works, being a sneakerhead... adds to my SMV.

To give you more of a precise advice: check the mfadvice subreddit and fully learn the inspo albums. They will serve as a stepping stone for your personal style.

I think style and outfit start with the shoes. Given the rugged workwear look, I assume dress is similar.

Shoes, gonna be boots obviously. I'd recommend Clarks Desert Boots. Red wings are a pricier option. For a casual shoe Chuck Taylor's come to mind.

Pants- dark jeans, probably a medium blue jean, and then chinos (I like the dark Khaki/acorn color). Black jeans if that's your thing.

Belt- some badass rugged leather belt, brown and/or black

Shirts- really where I think the style takes a big turn. I'd say "masculine", so tshirts, Henley (if your in shape), and button ups. For button ups I think the breast pocket on each side gives off the Americana vibe. Also flannel shirts and the like.

Outerwear - Field jacket style to complete the look. Watch- if you want/need one. Timex weekender/Hamilton khaki

Basic rundown- brown chukkas (clark db), jeans, and a button up shirt (white vneck underneath). the button up should be on the more casual side, so like a flannel or a double breast pocket mechanic style shirt.

For shorts, chino shorts, vneck or Henley, Chuck Taylor's and some aviator sunglasses

Ever since I started using /r/streetwear i've been getting a lot more compliments about my fashion sense.
