That friend of yours is not "trusted". If you didnt want her to know, you should not have told anyone. People gossip, especially such juicy things.

1) Cut out this "friend." He does NOT have your back. 2) Know that relationship talk is JUICY, and most people can't resist jabbering about it. You don't get to vent this stuff - it WILL bite you.

And here you learn. You don't vent this sort of shit to friends, they make things run out of control, even if they're trying to help.

About her confrontation, treat it like a shit test (it's not exactly one though) but get some strong pressure flip put up.
Keep in mind that oneitis is unattractive, it is comforting and therefore kills some tingles, even for your LTR. Don't give signs of it.
