By not even starting down that path. "Ok, cool". You know it's you going to have to chase up, so don't give her the security of your commitment by promising to chase up again.

Her "not going to talk to me ...". Just ignore it. Talk to her when you want, don't when you don't, blank the bullshit.

If she's interested she would have proposed the day/time. Your response should be to ask her to do this, not continue to guess something she'll agree to. If you care, apply dread and reject her first suggestion and then serve up one of your own. If not, I concur with "ok".
