First, you must accept two facts that are inescapable parts of being a sexually active western male:

1) We act, they react. We must approach and take the risk of rejection. No matter what you to do up your relative SMV with a given woman, you are the one who has to take the risk. That is there privilege and bitching about it won't change it.

2) Rejection is a part of being male. Only the top 1% of high SMV dudes get the sure thing. I'm talking Michael Jordon/Peyton Manning-class athletes, or Mick Jagger-class rocks stars get almost any woman they want. The rest of us, even with our SMV as jacked as we can make it, can't close on more than 10% of our approaches.

Accept these two things, then approach, approach, approach.

You will never, EVER get ANY of the dates/kisses/bangs you never asked for.

Bring yourself into a form, where you are at least OK with yourself. Only you can find out, what that is.

Think about, what kind of man you would admire. Who would you want to be? The witty STEM entepreneur? The tattooed bad-ass biker? The mysterious bachelor, who might have a second life?

Then take the certain steps.

If you want some confidence boost , you'll need to get stronger and/or better than other men. I'll recommend, what I recommended many times here in the last weeks: Start doing MMA. That shit changed so much for me.

You'll almost instantly change your posture and it will also calm you down in your head. You will meet many alpha-type men there, and you will loose anxiety. You will constantly be pushed out of your comfort zone. Just doing three minutes of sparring at 60-70% force will teach you many things. To name just one, it is overcoming the inhibition to hurt somebody you do not consider your enemy.

You'll be much more aloof, laid back, and in a IDGAF mood.

Even failure is a teacher so you do it, learn from the details, try your best to adapt and see how things go.

You might be surprised. Best approach: expect nothing, not even failure. Just GO do it.

Succeed or fail, you'll learn from every one of them. The worst outcome is if you learn nothing because you tried nothing.

Start at whatever level makes you only a little hesitant and work up. You don't pick up a bat for the first time ever and expect to hit a home-run for chrissake.
