There isn't a magical "red pill response" to everything. Red pill, in my opinion, is more of a state of mind than anything else. It sounds like you were just making pointless conversation.

Don't give out information like you did so easily:

"I was talking about setting out to find a relationship"

As other posters have said, TRP is open ended and it's not a set of rules or lines you should say/do.

I'll talk about that quote of yours and how it is inherently NOT RP.

You basically tell her you're desperate. It says you don't have pick of the crop and that you aren't very good with girls because you have to wait a while till you meet one that actually likes you.
Don't be so open to someone you've only just met. She was vague about herself, possibly because you were almost making a beating around the bush attempt to let her know you'd be up for a relationship, which as you can guess is creepy for the girl to be subjected to.

However, without getting too analytical, the fact is be relaxed, don't try putting ideas in her head, she's already made her mind up on you. This wasn't really a situation but you need to feel comfortable in the conversation and in directing it. Keep sex involved to some degree and don't chatter, flirt. If you enjoy meaningless chat with girls you obviously don't talk to many. Keep it fun and not serious.

This is a bad idea. First of all, if a girl likes you she will give you chances. The more she likes you the more chances you will get. For that matter it's very difficult to "ruin" your forever chances with an available girl. Maybe you can ruin your chances for that night, but that still leaves the next time.

She then comes back with she's never set out to find a relationship. I then curiously asked why not, and she said she's just never cared to try. Then in the same sentence she says that whenever she sets her sights on a particular guy, 2-3 guys she's not interested in seem to pop up and be interested in her.

I'm not sure where you're going with this interaction so it's hard for me to say. I think this is a gut check from her. Either you can think maybe you're one of the 2-3 guys that she's not interested in, or you can take this as an opportunity to assume you are the one she's interested in. A good thing to say would be, "How do you fend off all those guys? and you give he tips.. you guys could joke about it. "Are you really that unlucky?" "Are you trying to impress me?" or Just change the subject as if not skipping a beat.
