I'm curious on this. It has happen to me a few times, and I'm curious why / what my faults in this are.

This latest one, it was all going well. It had been going on for 3 months or so. We'd sleep over each others places a few times a fortnight, hang out, have fun doing this we both enjoy and have an interest in, all that kind of stuff. I then went away from work for a couple of weeks and got the cold shoulder treatment. It literally happened in hours. It was all fun and flirty in the morning, then in the afternoon; silence last lasted for 4/5 days. I always see the silent treatment as a form of emotional abuse (perhaps asserting more control on her behalf?). Anyway, I left her alone and to remain silent in those days while I lived life as usual. I called her and got a bit out of it. Distance was a factor, but wanted to wind it back and not lead me on.

I've hung out with her since then a couple of times, but she has been emotionally distant, occasionally very short answered and moody. During this time I have been patient, sometimes unresponsive to when she becomes a bitch though, but I think I'm being too generous in giving her the opportunity to act like a stable person.

Cards on the table, I do care about her but all this passive-aggressiveness is just idiotic. I know, I know.. It's the emotional female mind conflicting with the male logic point of view...

I'm trying to work out how the emotional connect we had, had deteriorated so quickly while I was away? Could it be some insecurity? Is it a form of test put upon me to see how I react? Or using the distance as an excuse because she just can't say she's bored? I am disappointed it's over, but I want to learn and develop from this.

Throw all thoughts and idea this way, and if there's any other info that could help out, I'm willing and able to share..

Cheers
