Right off the bat, you were laying it on heavy "are you coming back today?" (plz, I'm so alone), "don't worry I'll see you soon" (stalker much), her cue that there's "a father" in the picture was totally lost on you and then you finished her off with "I'm a little disappointed" (I get butthurt over random crap because I'm that desperate).

That's a woman you just met in a sales context, you needed to be considerably more aloof and professional/efficient. Then look for the charming opening to send your torpedo in.

Cheap ass kissing shot at the end "you independent womyn so you should do it, fuck him". I know what you were going for there, but remember, the line is "aww, so you're not allowed to talk to strange men without his permission?". Same destination, totally different route...

Best bet now is to pull back completely, say nothing more and forget about her. There's a solid 1:3 chance or so that she'll get back to you herself (she'll have a plausible excuse). She contacts for any reason whatsoever, you do 5 min of polite chitchat and then ask her out for a coffee/drinks in the evening. Never even bring up this last convo, just be cheery carefree and plough on forward. Absolutely no apologies for anything. Don't feel bad either, though you fucked it up with her as far as good game goes, it's still the kind of thing that makes a woman's day anyways. To you, nothing whatsoever happened. To her, she got attention and signs of interest from an eligible guy, possibly curing (temporarily) months of insecure thoughts she has about herself, boosting her confidence and adding to her princessy strut.

PS: The pause wasn't because she's driving, it's because hamster was deciding your fate. It decided you seem to come on too strong and supplicate, so it's a no.

Don't ever use the phrase "I am disappointed" or its equivalents regarding a woman's interest in you. That throws off a terrible vibe.

I mean if you have to do it say "That's a shame" or similar. Better yet find a different way to express yourself, it jumped off the screen at me as exceedingly weak.

First off, should have asked her out on the spot. That's where you failed and when everything fell to shit. Then, gotten her number.

Secondly, YOU gave HER your number? I'm extremely surprised she even called.

Third, you gave off a needy and slightly stalkerish vibe over the texts.

My advice, move on as she is not interested and let this one be a learning and growing experience.

EDIT: Let's not forget women do flirt and use their body language to get things from us men. It works and will always work. She may have been looking for only attention. Easiest way to get it is to be flirty.

The fact that she jumped straight into a technical questions suggests to me you got her number in a way that implied a non-pickup context.

Select better targets. Learn the difference between friendly tolerance and IOIs. Build more rapport and attraction before you attempt to invoke her bad girl mechanisms.

Upside - Not much of a fuck up since you had nothing to lose in the first place.
