I'm 38, married 7 years; strong beta but swallowed the red pill and loving it. Quickly read nmmng, poon, and mmslp.

I never realized how timid I was until this blog and the required text. I've only been at this for a month or 2 but have definitely noticed a difference.

Been doing crossfit for over a year and look the best I ever have ; even wife notices. She's a crossfitter too. I'm well educated and make mid six figure salary.

I still struggle with agree and amplify. Just looking for some strong critique. The scenario:

I get to bed later than my wife; typically around midnight. She's in bed at 830 -9 to be up early for crossfit at 5. The other night I went to bed at 12 and the next morning she's giving me shit that I woke her up when I came to bed and that she couldnt get back to sleep. Threatening to sleep upstairs in another room

My response was: yea be thankful it wasn't a really late night. She dropped it but then brought it up again this afternoon. My response was : how much beauty sleep do you need? Her response was how do I look now bc I'm only going on 4 hrs. I responded with; looking good to me .

Ultimately she wanted to pin me down as to where I'm sleeping like she thinks I'm the one who needs to move. Ultimately I just said I'm sleeping in My bed and you do whatever you need to do.

I will say that during my beta days I would previously sleep elsewhere during moments of tension arguments etc just to get away from her but I've seen the error of my ways.

So bring on the advice and criticism . I've got some work to do but I've seen improvements and I'm not done yet.
