Just a quick reminder that your wife thinks your stoicism is hot. Not your sensitivity, or your emotional finesse, or whatever else. She finds your rugged endurance attractive.
I was texting with my wife. I have alot going on at work these days (good stuff, but alot). She asked if I was stressed about it all. I said, "No. Stress is for the weak." I was half joking, and expected her to laugh it off, but instead I got "You're hot."
It probably has alot to do with the fact that I've been trying really hard not to show signs of insecurity, stress, fatigue, or anything else that indicates to her that I'm not about to open up a big 'ole can of whoop-ass on whatever life throws at us.
Stoicism is the essence of manliness, and it's what she's attracted to.
