So I’ve got a supposed date with this girl, but I’m not getting the best of vibes off her. My question is, do I go on this date, or just not follow through with it, and save from wasting my time/potentially getting rejected again?

I’ve known her for a few years, but not very well, I bumped into her when I was out drinking with friends one night. Ended up staying at hers, and had sex, but I had to leave early in the morning. She messaged me later, so assumed she’s still interested and used it as an opportunity to set up a date, which will be a few days from now.

However, I was with some friends again the other night, and I bumped into her again. She was being quite touchy feely, resting her head on me etc. towards the end of the night, and then I went back to hers, but this time she was very drunk and not feeling great, and passed out, I had to look after her a bit and went to sleep.

Now the following morning, is where I messed up, instead of escalating we spent a lot of time chatting and joking around the whole morning, and it just felt like 2 friends in bed next to each other. She didn’t really attempt much intimacy. Eventually, I tried to initiate sex, but she brushed off my advances and was like ‘nope, sorry’. Then she got up to go get ready.

She was saying things like ‘I like you’ ‘You’re funny’ and even made me look away when she was getting naked to get dressed, and she even made some joke about how I’ve turned into her gay best friend. was so annoyed with myself, we went for a coffee before I left, and she gave me a hug goodbye (lol), and then she messaged me later saying ‘it was nice to see you’ (LOL)

She said she’s still up for going for a drink on our scheduled date, but at this point I’m thinking is it even worth it,would it look better if I just don’t follow through with it - is this salvageable in any possible way?
