I'm pretty new, but I've read everything in the sidebar in addition to scanning the top post for a few weeks. First thing, although my text game is not the greatest yet, I managed to 1) get this girl's number off tinder and 2) ask her on a date (which is in a few days) and get a categorical 'yes.' I'm aware of most of the mistakes I made in the texts after studying them a bit more rigorously, but they are less relevant because she said yes anyhow.

So for the date itself, I go to a large university and as such live in a very typical college town, so most of my conversations on dates include school-centric topics. I'd like avoid this, because it makes the transition to anything sexual feel very forced. The date is just a simple dinner. I'd really like to know your opinions/advice on general conversation topics for this context. Even better would be a rough progression of how to start at the restaurant and end at either my apartment or with the likelihood of a future date.
