I'm an old school dad who rejects coddling and helicopter parenting. While my wife and I provide strong role models and a more naturalist lifestyle there is just trillions of dollars of culture out there that we dislike.

Some advice and ideas would be nice from a blog, but mostly just looking for commiserating and shared experience.
