In class today the subject of the ad came up and everyone was talking about what a good influence it was on men. The class comprises 11 females, 3 males, and a female teacher so yeaaah.... I questioned Gillette's business making ads telling men how to behave. Not sure if they liked that. Then I asked the girls how would they feel if Gillette female razors released an ad telling women how toxic they are and how they should all change. They didn't like this at all, gasps from a few of them. They had no reply so they just started talking about how female razors are more expensive than male ones. One of the guys said 'You must be fun at parties' all snarky, I didn't even react.

Should I just shut up in class? Like is there any point engaging?
