Social pressure.

If she has a strong sense of home and family, there is pressure to not be seen negatively in their eyes. So her behaviour needs to pass the "will this somehow get back to my parents" test.

If she hates her father, the ¥will this somehow get back to my parents" test is the opposite. She wants her shitty father to know had badly he fucked up.

If she has a strong sense of community and friends who look poorly on alutty behaviour, she doesn't want to be ostracised from the group by them finding out about behaviour they don't like. So it needs to pass the "will all my friends stop being my friends" test.

It all boils down to what will increase or lower her social standing with people she thinks matter.
